2025 Community Impact
Because of your support, we were able to meet a greater need than ever before:
1.5 million+ meals served
135,563 neighbors supported
53,212 children nourished
21,804 volunteer hours given
Our impact is so much bigger than just numbers. It’s parents who can put dinner on the table. Kids who have the nutrition they need to grow. Older adults who find relief from rising grocery costs, and neighbors who know they are not alone.
Volunteer Spotlight: Seton Square
Thank you to the volunteers that make this pop-up pantry possible.
One Thing is Certain: We will be here for our neighbors
Over the past several weeks, the Pantry and the families who shop with us have felt the whiplash of information about the impact of SNAP funding.

Most Needed Items - September
September is Hunger Action Month, a time when communities across the country come together to raise awareness about food insecurity and take action to end hunger. At Worthington Resource Pantry, we see every day how important this work is - neighbors continue to turn to us for healthy food and essential items, and the need is growing.
Most Needed Items - August
August is here and we are needing some personal care items to stock our shelves this month. Hygiene items support good health and promote dignity. They help a child feel confident and ready to learn and help parents strech tight budgets.
Volunteer Spotlight: Gary Kiefer
When Worthington resident Gary Kiefer dropped off a donation at the pantry earlier this year, a friendly invitation from other volunteers led him to join the team.
July By the Numbers
Together, we provided 109,629 meals to our community in just one month.
When School Meals Stop - We Step In
When school doors close for the summer, a hidden struggle quietly begins. In homes across Ohio, children lose access to reliable meals and for many families, the budget strain increases just when help is needed most.
Most Needed Items July
Help us stock our shelves with staples our neighbors need! We can't wait to welcome you to our new location at 500 Schrock Road. Drive around the building to the back and make sure to ring the bell!
A Very Busy First Month
We opened the doors to our new Pantry in June and it was a very busy month!
We’re Not Giving Up
State and national budget decisions are shifting, and they’ll have a real impact on food pantries and human services agencies - both across the country and here in Worthington.
Volunteer Spotlight: Worthington Christian Church
Volunteers from Worthington Christian Church have long been a meaningful part of the Worthington Resource Pantry family. For them, giving back is a natural expression of their faith.
Most Needed Items: April
Our shelves are looking a little light on protein and easy meals this month. So consider donating some peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken or soups. Smaller cans means we can offer it to more families. So bigger isn't always better when donating to the Pantry.
The Need Keeps Growing
In March, the Pantry served 2,960 families and a total of 11,872 neighbors. That’s 138,792 meals. That number isn’t just large - it’s part of a trend that has stretched on for more than a year and a half. It’s now been 19 consecutive months since we’ve served fewer than 10,000 people in a single month.
April Volunteer Spotlight
After retiring from a small school where she worked as a business manager, Susan Craig knew she wanted to give her time in a way that connected her directly with the community. She found that opportunity at the Pantry, where she volunteers as a shop assistant in the personal care section. It's a role that allows her to meet neighbors face-to-face and help them find exactly what they need.
