Since 2009, the Worthington Resource Pantry has been feeding our community by connecting neighbors to healthy food, resources, and each other. We serve residents from eight ZIP codes in northern Franklin and southern Delaware counties who have an income of less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

We offer a wide range of grocery and personal care items including fresh produce, dairy, meats, bread, and shelf-stable foods. Our neighbors with mobility or transportation challenges can access foods through the Pantry’s Homebound Delivery service. We set up Pop-Up Pantries at two transitional housing locations allowing neighbors to shop for food despite physical or mental health challenges. Our Resource Center connects neighbors to services that provide access to additional food options, clothing, maternity and baby care items, healthcare and medication, and utility bill assistance.

The Worthington Resource Pantry serves as a stopgap for neighbors facing difficult times. Access to a well-stocked food pantry is essential to ensuring that our community members never go without.

Meet the Team

Nick became the Executive Director of the Pantry in May 2018. He joined the Pantry team in February 2016 as the Volunteer Coordinator. Nick has experience working for other non-profit organizations, and he is a recognized leader. He is a Past President of the Volunteer Administrators' Network of Central Ohio, and he serves on the Worthington Community Relations Commission. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University. Nick and his wife, Jeanine, and their daughter, Helen, live in Worthington.

Nick says, “Our neighborhoods and communities make it a priority that fresh, healthy food and connections to other resources are available to everyone who needs it. With a community that is engaged, a volunteer force that is impactful, and a staff that is focused, the Worthington Resource Pantry is equipped to keep our neighbors' plates full now and into the future."

Madison joined the Pantry in June 2022. With more than 15 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, she is passionate about connecting people with causes they care about and helping donors see the impact of their generosity. She works closely with donors, grant funders, and community partners to ensure the Pantry has the resources needed to serve neighbors today while preparing for tomorrow. Madison is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She earned both her B.A. and M.A. from Indiana University and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

Madison says, “I am continually amazed by what happens when a community comes together around a shared purpose. Every day, I see neighbors helping neighbors through generous donations, volunteer service, and simple acts of kindness. Knowing that support translates into healthy food, stability, and dignity for local families is what makes this work so meaningful. I am grateful to be part of an organization, and a community that shows up for one another every day.”

Erin joined the Pantry in March 2023 and serves as Communications Director. She brings experience in nonprofit communications, state government, and statewide public awareness campaigns. Erin leads the Pantry's communications and brand strategy, overseeing storytelling, marketing, media relations, digital communications, and community engagement to increase awareness, inspire support, and advance the organization's mission. She is a graduate of Capital University and is Accredited in Public Relations (APR). Erin and her husband, Omar, enjoy spending time with their four children.

Erin says, “I love introducing people to the Pantry. Every day, I get to show our community the incredible work happening here and invite more people to be part of it. It's a privilege to help tell the stories behind that work.”

Kevin Gadd joined Pantry as Director of Operations in June 2026. He brings extensive leadership experience from the nonprofit, education, and workforce development sectors, along with more than 20 years of military service in the Air Force.

A retired Air Force Chief, Kevin has spent much of his career helping individuals build better futures through access to education, training, and community resources. He earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Franklin University.

Kevin has 3 grown sons and he and his wife, Wendy, live in Westerville with their two dogs. Kevin says, “I have spent much of my career helping people access opportunities that can change the trajectory of their lives. WRP does that every day by ensuring our neighbors have reliable access to food and support services. I am grateful to work alongside such a dedicated team of volunteers, donors, and community partners.”

James joined the Pantry in April 2024. He has experience in many facets of supply chain management including logistics, material management and warehouse operations. James graduated from The Ohio State University and has been American Production and Inventory Control Society certified in Production and Inventory Management. James enjoys watching football, playing golf, and traveling. A longtime resident of Dublin, he is married and has two married daughters and three grandchildren, which he enjoys immensely.

James says, "As I was deciding my future career path, I decided to volunteer one day a week at the Worthington Resource Pantry. It was a life changing experience, seeing all the amazing volunteers come together and provide a critical service for the community. It is a very fulfilling experience working at the Pantry, helping our neighbors every day!"

Kayla joined the Pantry in August 2024. She has previous experience in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers in public policy and helping them get involved in the political process. Kayla is responsible for managing volunteers and many of the programs the Pantry has throughout the community. A graduate of Juniata College, she now lives in Powell with her partner, their dog, Anya, and their cat, Jangles.

“The Worthington Resource Pantry is an amazing organization and that is due to the people who volunteer their time to ensure our neighbors have access to fresh, high quality foods and any other resource they may need. I go home each day in awe of what they have accomplished and proud I get to be a part of it. I am excited to work with them to continue providing these programs that support our neighbors and our community.”

Hannah joined the Pantry in July 2025 as an AmeriCorps VISTA serving as the Pantry Experience Coordinator. After completing her first year of service, she began a second AmeriCorps VISTA term as the Pantry's Outreach and Development Coordinator. In her current role, Hannah focuses on connecting with donors and community partners to share the Pantry's mission and strengthen support for its programs. She contributes to fundraising, outreach, and communication efforts that build awareness and ensure the Pantry can continue serving neighbors with dignity. Hannah is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her family.

Hannah says, "After my first day at the Worthington Resource Pantry, I knew this was a special place. It was heartwarming to witness a community dedicated to providing fresh, healthy foods and resources to our neighbors. I am excited to be working alongside and supporting the incredible neighbors, volunteers, and staff who show up for one another every day."
