Volunteer Spotlight: Conny Pope and Sandy Taylor

Connie Pope and Sandy Taylor have been volunteering with the Worthington Resource Pantry since 2024. You can most often find them at the Pantry on Thursday mornings where they prep bags of canned and dried goods for our homebound deliveries while bringing lots of laughs and great stories.

Despite record-breaking demand, they work hard to ensure neighbors that are unable to visit the Pantry still receive the food they need through the Homebound Delivery Program. Both shared that their favorite part of volunteering is the camaraderie they’ve built and the opportunity to serve others.
