Welcome 2026!
As we closed out 2025, one thing is clear: this year asked more of our community - and our community delivered.
Our holiday programs capped the year with meaningful impact. Sharing Livi’s Love provided 690 gift cards to teens across our service area, helping ensure older kids were not overlooked during the holidays. Through Firefighters4Kids, volunteers signed up more than 1,400 children from 580 households, bringing joy and stability to families during a busy season. In partnership with Operation WARM, we distributed 250 winter coats and pairs of shoes, and with COSI, we shared 150 STEM kits, helping kids stay warm, curious, and engaged.
Our work also reached a wider audience in 2025. Coverage from Spectrum News, 10TV, NBC4, ABC6, Good Day Columbus, The Columbus Dispatch, and Worthington Spotlight spotlighted our move, SNAP interruptions, and community food drives - reinforcing the Pantry’s role as a trusted local resource during moments of uncertainty.
Operationally, this year marked a new level of scale. Families shopped with us more than 35,000 times, including 3,129 households visiting for the first time. We completed 2,756 homebound deliveries, distributed 1.3 million pounds of food and personal care items, and were supported by 24,500 volunteer hours. In total, we provided the equivalent of 1.6 million meals - all while opening and settling into a new building that will serve our community for years to come.
Looking ahead, momentum is building for Shamrocks & Shenanigans, with five Pot of Gold sponsors already committed.
None of this happens without you. As we reflect on 2025 and look toward what’s next, we do so with gratitude for a community that continues to show up for each other.
