Volunteer Spotlight: Patrick Glitsch

This month, we’re highlighting one of our newer volunteers who has quickly become a regular at the Pantry. Patrick started volunteering in early October after realizing he wanted to give back more to the community.

Since then, Patrick has jumped into just about every role, including receiver, produce receiver, shopping assistant, and stocker. He shared that he started signing up for anything he could. One of the things he appreciates most is working alongside other volunteers who are all there for the same reason.

His favorite role is shopping assistant because it gives him the chance to connect directly with neighbors — something he finds especially meaningful.

Outside of the Pantry, Patrick stays busy giving back in other ways. He runs a local robotics team and is actively involved in his neighborhood.

We’re grateful for the time, flexibility, and care Patrick brings to the Pantry, and we’re glad he’s part of our volunteer community.
