Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is a national day of service focused on neighbors coming together to care for their local communities. On Tuesday, October 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., we are hosting a Personal Care Service Project at the Worthington Resource Pantry. Volunteers will repackage, label, and stock essential hygiene products so they are ready for Pantry shelves.

Personal care items like shampoo, soap, and toothpaste are always in high demand because traditional food assistance programs do not cover them.

If you cannot volunteer in person, donating supplies is a great way to support the project. Consider ordering items directly from our Make a Difference Day Wishlist. You can also make a financial contribution or drop off items in person. Fill out our interest form, and we will follow up with details on how to help.
