Volunteer Spotlight: Worthington Christian Church

Volunteers from Worthington Christian Church have long been a meaningful part of the Worthington Resource Pantry family. For them, giving back is a natural expression of their faith.

“As followers of Christ, we’re always looking for ways to serve others,” one volunteer shared. “We knew Worthington Christian Church and the Pantry already had strong ties, and it felt right to continue that connection.”

Since joining the volunteer team, the group has found joy not only in the work they do, but also in the relationships they’ve built. They describe the experience as consistently welcoming and well-organized, noting that they always feel equipped to make a real impact.

“The staff and other volunteers are wonderful. There’s a real sense of community here,” they said. “We appreciate how smoothly things run. We always know what’s needed and feel like we’re making a difference.”

Now volunteering in the new facility, they’re even more inspired. “It’s incredible to see the results of everyone’s hard work. The new space is beautiful—and it’s clear how much thought and care went into creating it for our neighbors.”
