It Isn’t Luck..
When we asked our community for help stocking pads at the Pantry, the response was immediate. Boxes started showing up at our door almost overnight. Amazon deliveries stacked up on the dock, volunteers carried in bag after bag, and one driver even told us we had set a record for the number of packages delivered in a single stop. It was one of those moments that reminds us how quickly this community responds when neighbors need support.
Access to menstrual products is something many people take for granted, but period poverty is a real challenge for millions of people. Nearly 1 in 4 teens in the United States has struggled to afford period products, and many adults face the same reality. Without reliable access, people miss school, work, and daily activities simply because they do not have the supplies they need. At the Pantry, pads are consistently the most requested menstrual product. Our neighbors tell us they are easier to use, easier to store, and work best for their daily routines.
Because of you, our shelves are stocked and our neighbors can leave the Pantry with one less worry.
And that same generosity showed up in a big way at Shamrocks & Shenanigans. Together, you helped us raise a record $147,000 to support our neighbors.
As the number of families visiting the Pantry continues to grow, it means everything to see our community rising to meet that need.
